is a management consultancy and coaching firm that was formed in 1995 to support clients in the core areas of:

Our success over the last 24 years has been based on ensuring that all our interventions are designed to work in partnership with organisations, in order to drive daily practice, rather than putting together plans, which gathers dust on a shelf. By working with you, we support you to build your own organisational capacity and capability for the future and become self-sufficient over time.

Our extensive breadth of experience of Executive, Non-Executive Director and Board roles as well as of running successful businesses allows us to offer a range of experiences and strategies to help you to develop and shape effective solutions. Our expertise is recognised by professional bodies and peers alike, resulting in gaining Fellowship of both the Chartered Institute of Management and the Institute of Consulting, since 2001. Additionally, our coaches are highly experienced and accredited by Ashridge Business School and all are facilitators are highly qualified.

Specifically, our senior partner, Hiroo Chothia, has a strong background of working directly with schools and local education authorities in various capacities, including: previous Chair of Governors, External Adviser on educational and recruitment issues to schools and local authorities; coach to Headteachers and mentor to other chairs.

We are based in Harrow and are proud to have worked with local, national and international organisations, from the commercial, public and not-for-profit sectors. These have included schools and the education sector, local councils and national government departments, the banking and insurance industry, the public and private health sector, small business owners, entrepreneurs and the charitable sector, to name a few.

Strategy Development - As this function is vital to the success of any size of organisation, we facilitate the development of all the key stages of this process, and help you translate them into realisable actions. This will, firstly, help you to create a clear direction for your school, which in turn aids your decision-making process and secondly, identify future opprtunities as the school evolves.

Business Planning - Detailed planning allows financial resources to be used wisely and for the human resources of the school to be as productive as possible. We support you to determine comprehensive plans - to meet your school's needs and overcome uncertainties, to achieve your overall goals and aspirations.

Programme and Project Management - Whilst project management is an important activity, schools are likely to be managing multiple projects concurrently, with shared or overlapping resource implications and as such are more likely in need of programme management. Our services help you to programme manage effectively, so that you can identify the interdependencies and manage the risks across your various projects,

Budgeting & Forecasting - We assist you in creating a detailed picture of future activity and results, financial position and cash flow as well as aiding you with the development of forecasts, in order to estimate what you hope to achieve.

Executive Coaching - We offer expert coaching your emerging and established leaders, drawing on over 25 years track record of success in helping individuals to reach their potential by improving performance through developing skills, confidence and focus. Through our pragmatic and highly focused coaching programmes, we create strong working partnerships that are underpinned by sound coaching principles and well validated techniques.

Leadership - Many of the leadership develop initiatives in organsations fail, despite best efforts. To counter this, we pay particular emphasis on context, individual and team workloads, the mindsets of the individuals involved and quantifying value / return of investment. This ensures outcomes from any of your leadership activities in school are linked to your strategic and inidividual objectives.

Facilitation - We facilitate a range of events for diverse organisations, at team or entire organisation level. There are a number of advantages of external facilitation for your organisation, not least that it can create a neutral or unbiased atmosphere. It can also bring fresh perspectives and new questions to the discussion, creating an environment for difficult questions to be asked and confronting assumptions. These typically include: future planning events; team building / management tier development; blue sky thinking events; implementation of new policies; expert panel discussions, budgeting and forecasting.

Organisational Design - Through better understanding of the business processes, workflows, roles and responsibilities, volumes of work, activity and available resources, we can assist you with the process of aligning your school structure with their objectives and effectiveness. Additionally, we help you to assess and develop their capacity and capacity to fulfil your overall objectives.

Board Development - We support Boards like yours to fulfil your governance requirements of reviewing your composition and effectiveness to identify any gaps in capabilities across your group of board members, whilst also reviewing effectiveness, dynamics and success of the board as a team.

Change Management - We work with you to ensure that you respond effectively and in a structured way to the ever-changing landscape, that you inevitably operate within, with particular emphasis on culture, outcomes rather than just outputs, as well as ensuring benefits that are not just short-lived.

Situational Analysis / Organisational Audits - Many managers struggle to understand their organisation's capabilities, customers and business environment.
