Process Improvement
We help businesses to improve their processes by mapping them, revealing in great detail what actually happens, then identifying and removing the Lean Wastes. These wastes are activities which have been shown not to add value to the process and therefore increase cost and reduce productivity.
Project Management
We can help you to structure a project and manage it using the standard project management tools. It is particularly important to identify potential resource conflicts, i.e. the allocation of more than one task to a resource at the same time.
Creative Problem Solving
Sometimes we can’t solve a difficult problem because we have preconceptions about the solution. These preconceptions prevent us reaching the solution because the best solution doesn’t fit our expectations. The creative problem solving approach gives us a set of tools to find a good solution that would not otherwise have occurred to us.
Sometimes we judge a solution too early: “That can’t work – it’s been tried before”. Edward De Bono’s “Thinking Hats” approach forces us to suspend judgement and properly evaluate all options.
